Raquel L. Ramirez received the vision of House of God and Gate of Heaven Institute in prayer in 2001. By faith she began collecting pennies to open an account and get the necessary documents to become an organization. In the beginning of 2003, Raquel started youth meetings in her home that grew to 22 kids. She continued embracing the vision as the Lord guided her to college to earn her degree in Business Administration. Through prayer, and fasting she received more direction and was led to volunteer at various foster homes and pregnancy centers. In 2005 the Lord transitioned her from volunteer to employee at a crisis pregancy center in Homestead, Fl. 

Raquel is now Founder and President of House of God and Gate of Heaven Institute. A place of hope, joy and support; where we take the youth beyond the pregnancy test to a life of purpose.

Raquel is married to Pastor Eduardo Ramirez, a man of God who supports her in everyway. She has 2 daughters, Gisselle and Rachel, who have encouraged her in her dream. Raquel welcomed her first grandchild - Annabel in March 2012. She currently attends House of God & Gate of Heaven Church. Her passion is to know and serve her Lord Jesus Christ and spread the gospel.
